At the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), we are fueled by a workforce committed to serving as the Secretary’s primary advisor on matters involving the nation’s public health. OASH oversees the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ key public health offices and programs, including the Office of Research Integrity, as well as several Presidential and Secretarial advisory committees, ten regional health offices across the nation, the Office of the Surgeon General, and the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS) Commissioned Corps.
As the Director of the Office of Research Integrity, you will be an integral part of the work done to promote research integrity; prevent, detect, report, and handle research misconduct; and protect PHS-supported biomedical and behavioral research. The ORI Director works closely with the HHS Secretary and Assistant Secretary for Health (ASH), navigates the exciting role as liaison with heads of research organizations in the private and public sectors, and provides expert advice on procedural and technical policies.
