Project Title: Bridging Ethics, Compliance, and Integrity in Research Practice
Abstract:
This project will host a one-day hybrid conference bringing together faculty, staff, librarians, trainees, and administrators to foster dialogue on partnering to address contemporary research integrity issues. The conference will highlight how responsible conduct of research (RCR) principles enhance research quality, rigor, and public trust. Key outcomes include strengthened collaborations and the launch of two initiatives: 1) the RCR Awards recognizing exemplary staff, faculty, and trainees, and 2) The Big Read, a shared reading program promoting ethical reflection. It will also include the creation of a shared online repository with resources, session recordings, discussion guides, and evaluation tools. All materials and a comprehensive conference report will be publicly available, providing actionable insights and resources to support research ethics communities nationally and internationally.
