Five awards were made by the Research on Research Integrity (RRI) Program in response to 52 applications received. The awards were supported by the National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), and ORI.
Total funding for the fourth round (new and continuations) totaled $1.97 million. ORI provided $1.37 million and NINDS, NINR, and NIDA provided $0.6 million. ORI funded four new grants and partially funded the fifth new grant with NINR. The maximum direct costs were increased from $100,000 to $250,000 per year, and the project period was extended from 2 to 3 years.
