Six awards were made by the Research on Research Integrity (RRI) Program in response to 31 applications received. The awards were supported by the National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), and ORI.
Total funding for the third round (new and continuations) totaled $1.97 million which is slightly lower than the funding for the second round and almost double the funding for the first round. ORI provided $1.23 million and NINDS, NINR, and NIDA provided $0.74 million. The grants were limited to $100,000 in direct costs plus indirect costs for each of two years.
