CONFIDENTIALITY Some research goes on in places where people come to get services. The fact that someone goes for services is confidential. If people worry that someone will find out, they might not go to get the help they need. When that happens, everybody loses—the people, the agency and you. This is one reason why keeping private information confidential is so
important. Don’t tell others how you know someone you met doing
research. |
