APPLICATIONS
Karen

Karen works for a university project on HIV risk behavior. For her job, Karen recruits mothers who come to a local playground with their kids.

Only moms who have had more than three different sex partners in the last year are eligible. Eligible moms are asked to go to a university building to participate in research. People are paid $50 to participate.

One day, three women and a man approach Karen and tell her that they came to the playground because they want to participate and get $50.

These four people put Karen in a difficult position.
