At UNH, ongoing IRB approval carries the following conditions:
- IRB approval must be kept active until the project is completed (including analysis of data).
- All studies reviewed at the Expedited and Full Board levels must be revisited annually by the IRB.
- Researchers must submit any modifications of approved studies to the IRB for review prior to implementation. Modifications must not be initiated until approved by the IRB in writing without contingencies. The only exception is a deviation that is necessary to eliminate an immediate hazard to a subject.
