Misconduct

UNH's Misconduct Policy defines misconduct in scholarly activity as:

  • Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, or other serious deviation from accepted practices in proposing, conducting, or reporting results from scholarly activities
  • Retaliation of any kind against a person who has brought forth an allegation of misconduct or who has provided information about a suspected case of misconduct

Misconduct does NOT include honest error or differences in interpretations, judgments, or opinion with respect to scholarly issues.
