We are excited to announce the release of the Office of Research Integrity’s (ORI) 2024 Annual Report. This report is designed to provide information about research misconduct proceedings, assurance and compliance programs, and ORI's grant programs. Data provided by ORI during calendar year 2024 in this report include: 

• 713 allegations received and 119 total case closures,
• Findings of research misconduct by type and associated administrative actions,
• More than 1,100 technical assistance sessions provided to institutions,
• Review of over 6,000 institutional assurance records, and
• Nearly $200,000 in grants awarded to support research integrity and compliance with 42 CFR Part 93.

We encourage you to review this report, as it provides details about how ORI conducts its oversight responsibilities in regard to Public Health Service-supported research efforts.
