One new award was made by the RRI program. The National Institute for Environmental and Health Sciences (NIEHS) provided grants management support and grant review services. Total funding for the RRI program in 2012 was $117526. The new grant received $239,123and four continuations received $754,806.  ORI contributed $993,929. NIEHS funded $181,337. R21-awards provide up to $275,000 in direct costs, plus indirect costs, for a total of two years.
