At UNH, ongoing IACUC approval carries the following five conditions:
- IACUC approval must be kept active for the life of the project.
- Project directors must submit annual reports at the end of the 1st and 2nd years of the project to determine if approval will be extended.
- At the end of the 3rd year, project directors must either formally close the project or submit a new application for IACUC review (per USPHS Policy).
