Brand, who was a graduate student in the Department of Human Oncology, UWM, and subsequently a research fellow in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, UCSF, engaged in research misconduct in research supported by U.S. Public Health Service (PHS) funds, specifically National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Center for Research Resources (NCRR), NIH, National Center for Translational Sciences (NCATS), NIH, National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS), NIH, and National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), NIH.
