Awards Data 2005

Seven awards were made by the Research on Research Integrity (RRI) Program in response to 47 applications received. The awards were supported by the National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI), the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) and ORI.

Total funding for the fifth round (new and continuations) totaled $2.59 million, the highest in the program.  ORI provided $1.82 million and NINDS, NINR, NIDA, NHBLI, and NIAAA provided $0.77 million. The maximum direct costs were decreased from $250,000 to $175,000 per year, and the project period was decreased from 3 to 2 years.
