At
UNH, the IRB has five functions:
- Review
all research studies involving human subjects
- Address
concerns involving the use of human subjects in research
- Advise
faculty, staff, and students on the ethical conduct of research involving
people
- Conduct
appropriate reviews of the University's program and develop guidelines
to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Serve
in an advisory capacity to the Vice President for Research and Public
Service
