All individuals who actually handle sources of radiation must complete a six-hour Radiation Safety for Users training program prior to any handling.
OEHS provides Radiation Awareness training (one and a half hours) for non-radiation workers who may enter a restricted area and for students working under the direct supervision of a Permit Holder.
All trained individuals must attend annual refresher
radiation safety training provided by OEHS.
