All doors of biosafety level 2 and 3 laboratories must be posted with the appropriate international biological warning symbols. Appropriate information, including the agent(s) in use, required immunizations, investigator’s name and emergency contact information, and any personal protective equipment that must be worn in the laboratory, must also be included on a sign near the entrance to the laboratory.
