    The federal government has the authority to access any data collected or generated in activities that it has funded.

UNH may need to access data and in certain situations take custody of data, such as in patent disputes or allegations of misconduct or financial conflict of interest. This responsibility lies with the UNH Vice President for Research and Public Service.
