CASE STUDY: NSF Proposal Review

Mary, a post-doc in the lab, asks if she can help do the proposal review next time.

Mary has never seen a grant proposal, aside from ones submitted through the labs where she has worked. It is reasonable for her to ask to be part of that process. Dr. Block should indicate to NSF that the two of them will conduct the review together and why. Mary should sign the confidentiality agreement and conflict of interest waiver as well.
