CASE STUDY: Crashing into Law

Oleson believes he has a responsibility to tell the lawyer the limitations of the Budgetair testing, most specifically that the model had not been validated with the DC-9 aircraft or soft surface crash sites.

He tells the lawyer what the test seemed to show, but also that he is unwilling to say with absolute certainty that the damage was caused by something other than the crash alone.
