If a dispute cannot be resolved among the individuals involved to the satisfaction of each person, then the dispute should be brought before the appropriate department chairperson.

If a resolution still cannot be reached, or if any of the individuals are not satisfied with the proposed resolution, then the situation should be taken to the dean of the appropriate college/school.

If the dispute remains unresolved, or if any of the individuals remain unsatisfied with the proposed resolution, the situation should be presented to the Office of Intellectual Property Management.
