5th Biennial ORI Research Conference on Research Integrity

(abstracts due October 31, 2008)

The ORI Research Conferences on Research Integrity provide a forum for scholars interesting in integrity in research to discuss crucial research problems, explore different research methods, and share research results, with the ultimate goal of furthering understanding about ways to foster integrity and deter misconduct in research.

Date May 15-17, 2009

Location (pending) Niagara Falls Conference Center, Niagara Falls, NY

Local co-host (pending) Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, NY

Accomodations (pending) Crowne Plaza Hotel, Niagara Falls, NY

Call for Abstracts Abstracts for papers, poster sessions, panel discussions, and working groups are due October 31, 2008. Preference will be given to empirical studies that:
  • open new research areas,
  • use new research methods, or
  • provide new insights into recognized research problems.
Proposals for theoretical or methodological presentations, historical analyses, and interpretive literature reviews will also be considered.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically:

  • send the Abstract Submission Form (Word) as an email attachment, or
  • send the information requested in the Abstract Submission Form (PDF) in an email message.

Abstracts will usually be reviewed and authors notified within three weeks of submission.
